PMB Performance has been tearing down and rebuilding Porsche 914 calipers for 20 yearsâmore than anyone else, period. Front calipers sticking or leaking? This kitâs your fix. Each bundle rebuilds one ATE 48mm front caliperâgrab two if youâre doing both sides.
Whatâs in it: Â
- 48mm ATE seal kit (OEM 901.351.964.11)âfactory-spec rubber, not aftermarket junk.
- 48mm stainless steel pistonsâreuse your knock-back springs; they slot right in. Â
- PMB assembly lubeâkeeps seals seated during install, cuts wear.
Due to pad hardware kits only being sold in pairs, Repair bundles sold with pad hardware will only be sold in pairs. (quantity 1 = two repair bundles)
After 50+ years, 914 caliper bodies need re-zinc platingâyellow zinc, same as ATE did in the â70s, not cad or cheap poly coats. PMBâs seen the failures: 99% come from worn zinc letting corrosion creep into the bores. Our plating service (add it below) gets you a finish thatâll hold up decadesâway past the bean-counter builds of â75. Pad hardware? Add it to your bundle. Â
